Our Story

The team behind PiCo first built a Loyalty platform to help retailers move their paper and plastic cards to the smartphone.

 

Problem was, most stores had old or inflexible Point-of-Sale systems that made it difficult and expensive to deliver a digital solution.

Sales and customer data was trapped in legacy PoS.

From this experience, PiCo was born and today is a unique combination of plug & go hardware and cloud-based Applications.

 

Together, this gives physical retail stores and Consumer Brands a cost effective and flexible way to manage sales, inventory and real-time shopper interactions without upgrading PoS.

The co-founders of PiCo are digital pioneers with over 40 years of digital marketing experience between them. 

 

Founder & MD Andrew Lowe has been working in digital since 1994, for innovators like Doubleclick, Epsilon and Omniture as well as his own startup which he sold to Dentsu in 1997.

 

CTO and co-founder, Tony Nguyen has managed digital transformations for some of Australia’s largest Financial Services & Healthcare companies including AMP and BUPA.
