ALM service over 2,900 hotels, liquor stores, restaurants and other licensed premises throughout Australia and New Zealand under mastheads that include IGA Liquor, Cellarbrations and Porters.
PiCo was chosen to support ALM and their loyalty partner to introduce a loyalty program across the group - initially through the Cellarbrations masthead.
In order to manage the customer data, they needed sales data from over 1,000 independent stores, operated by 700+ different owners, running 30 different types of POS systems.
ALM only had access to data from what left their warehouse, not what was sold and by whom. Given the challenges of working with so many store owners; disparate PoS Systems and rural and remote locations, there was no easy solution, so PiCo faced its biggest ever challenge.
With PiCo installed, ALM had a real-time view of sales from their independent store network. When matched with orders that left the warehouse, they now had a complete picture of what stock was selling and the locations it was selling in.
